In order to be an effective leader, you must understand how others lead and which style best suits you.  You can then tailor the way you lead in a way that allows you to use other styles of leadership to your advantage in certain situations.  To be sure, there a times when you will benefit from using each of these 5 styles of leadership and no one should ever only use one of them.  As with all things in life, there is no one-size-fits-all style of leadership that you need to adopt.

By understanding the 5 styles of leadership, you will be much better adept at leading your team and influencing those around you within your organization.

The 5 Styles of Leadership you will learn are:

  1. Laissez-Faire Leadership
  2. Autocratic Leadership
  3. Participative Leadership
  4. Transactional Leadership
  5. Transformational Leadership
